About Miss Payten
Miss Payten brings more than 14 years of experience in education and childcare to her preschool program. She is a licensed K–8 teacher with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a Reading and Writing Endorsement. Throughout her career, she has taught both kindergarten and third grade, giving her a deep understanding of how children learn and develop during their most important early years.
While her education and classroom experience have provided a strong foundation, some of Miss Payten's greatest lessons have come from being a mother herself. She understands the trust families place in those who care for their children and is committed to creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to grow.
Miss Payten believes that young children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences. Her classroom is designed to spark curiosity, foster creativity, and help children build confidence as they develop important academic, social, and emotional skills. Through hands-on activities, interactive learning opportunities, and positive relationships, she strives to make each day engaging, purposeful, and fun.
Her goal is not only to prepare children for kindergarten but also to help them develop a lifelong love of learning. Whether children are practicing early literacy skills, working together with friends, exploring new concepts, or simply discovering the joy of learning something new, Miss Payten is passionate about helping each child reach their full potential.
She looks forward to partnering with families and providing a preschool experience that helps children learn, grow, and thrive.
